|

Require minor corrective action to achieve Green
status. |

:: Supplier
Survey
A
Supplier Survey is a follow-up to your Supplier
Identification process or list of possible suppliers that
you have. Your intent is to check the authenticity of the
suppliers as displayed on their websites, by manufacturer
reps, and buying services. If your supplier is an
established supplier with a reputation then you should
proceed directly to qualifying them. If your supplier is
unknown you need CSQR to check them out.
CSQR will communicate with the supplier to authenticate
their existence, product and industrial background,
history, referrals, financial and ownership information,
using CSQR Survey Checklist of questions or our Customer's
Survey Checklist.
The purpose of using CSQR Supplier Survey is to reduce the
time and cost in qualifying and selecting the wrong
supplier, in getting unusable FRS and in wasting time and
cost of sending your executive overseas to several
locations.
::
Supplier Qualification
Supplier Qualification is a follow up on the supplier that
you have selected as a potential subcontractor- It
is not Supplier Assessment. The customer has a choice of sending purchasing/technical
executive to size up the supplier or you can use CSQR.
Supplier Qualification is a quick survey of a supplier's
manufacturing capabilities. It narrows down the list of
potential suppliers to 2-3 possibilities which the
customer wants to engage in serious discussions and
negotiations.
Supplier Qualification reduces much wasted time and costs
in talking to too many suppliers. In qualifying the
supplier CSQR will be checking on:
-

supplier's manufacturing capabilities.
