:: Touch-up Rework

Touch-up rework involves simple part modifications without the use of specialized equipment. An example would include the addition of foam or butyl tape to a trim part to solve noise (BSR) or fit issues.

:: Alteration Rework

Normally conducted under the close direction of an authorized Engineer from your plant or OEM, involves the use of specialized equipment such as CNC/milling machines, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic presses or spot welders. An example would involve drilling 10 mm hole on a plastic part.
