INSPECTION

Inspection process includes multiple item inspection per person. At the minimum, kick-off meetings with customers or suppliers are conducted to establish the inspection protocol, standardized work instructions are created, traceability for our inspections are established with customers and time studies are conducted to ensure value add service.  At the end of inspection detailed report including I-charts are completed, as per kick-off meeting and sent to the customer or supplier. Our high calibre, trained professionals will provide accurate data collection and report to track all non-conformity for our clients. Our inspectors have the proper equipment to ensure and maintain consistent procedures for the duration of each project.

:: Final Inspection

Inspection conducted on finished products, components, subassemblies or reworks. We conduct Inspection as per OEM / Customer requirement as stated in their General Procedure (GP) and as established between the customer and the supplier. Customer need to supply us with inspection criteria, the production volume, and supplier's technical compliance.

 We conduct the following:

  •  Random Inspection - selectively inspect items from different lots

  •  Out of the Box Inspection - selective packaged or packed items are inspected.

  •  On Line Inspection - random inspection at certain control points for product defect modes.

  •  Label Inspection - label correctness, location ect

  • Care inspection ( 100 % Level 1) / (200 % Level 2 Layered Inspection)

:: Process Inspection

Process inspection is the selective inspection of the product/components/subassembly at different stages of the production line. This is carried out when the product is in current production. Process Inspection is customer mandated and focuses on specific objectives:

  •  Verify the execution of Corrective Action Report (CAR) by the Supplier Production Team.

  •  Product and component quality inspection before assembly.

  •  Inspect and detect poor quality linkages at different production stations.

  •  Identify supplier production weaknesses in the production system that leads to defects.

  •  Find the root causes of production defects detected during final inspection.

Process inspection can be used by the customer with the objective of reducing on-going 100% inspection of all production lots.

:: First Article Review

First article is the first product or subassembly sample taken from the test-run production. Or it can be a sample which the supplier has put together in accordance with the customer's technical specifications.

  First Article Inspection entails:

  •  Verify supplier conformance to design requirements.

  •  Verify changes to BOM and conformance to ECN (Engineering Changes Notification).

  •  Set up final and process inspection procedures.

  •  Inspect the sample for conformance to technical drawings and specifications.

  •  Inspect and verify use of customer approved/alternative components and safety standards.

  • Evaluate functional testing and test equipment for production use.

  • Establish Quality Inspection parameters and criteria.

  •  Activate a customer/supplier technical feedback loop.
